Baby book anyone?

I am keen to buy a baby book. Given that this is our first, I have no clue as to what kind of information to note down so I like the idea of having a book to follow and fill out. I think I will probably make a blurb book as well with lots of photos etc. Has anyone seen anything sweet that is NOT pastel teddy bears etc? I have found this site that makes some recommendations. The image above looks quite nice and seems to have great reviews based on that it is a little creative without being too "scrap-booky" (I can't scrap book, I have neither the time, talent or interest) but I was thinking of something a little more modern and simple. Any ideas?

  1. Oh I was in the same position as you when I was pregnant! I didn't like seeing all the Baby books with photos of OTHER babies and seriously considered designing and printing my own book with my own photos and text. But of course I ran out of time so I bought the '365' book from Kikki K to record my baby's daily activities. I'm hopeless with scrapbooking as well but since the pages are blank I've stuck polaroids, stamps and stickers - I hope to give it to Lily on her 21st birthday.

I also bought a baby record book from Dymocks (I can't find the book) but it's just got a green elephant (I don't like gender specific colours!) and find it handy to just record when she first smiled etc...Admit-tingly I only purchased this last month!

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy...not long now (I bet you are sick of hearing that though!) and I'm sorry your 3rd trimester hasn't been pleasant but I'm sure you will be so happy when baby arrives that it will soon be a distant memory!
